ShareBox is a sharing solution made for macOS, iOS (soon) and Web (also soon). It allows you to share files in different ways like Airdrop, Cloud Drive or ShareBox itself.
What is ShareBox Uploads?
ShareBox Uploads is a feature that allows you to upload files to a so called "ShareBox" and receive a uniquely generated url to share your files with anyone.
Is my data private?
Yes. We use privacy-first practices and encrypt data in transit. You can set expiry and optional passwords. We also remove all traces of your files after they have been expired.
How do I share files?
Drag & drop files to the edge of your screen and choose the ShareBox option (top one).
Are other platforms supported?
No, currently only macOS is supported for uploading files, with iOS and Web coming soon.
How long are my uploaded files available for?
Your files are available for up to 3 days by default, then automatically deleted forever. This can also be changed to up to 7 days in your settings.
Can I set a password for my ShareBox uploads?
Yes. You can set a password for your ShareBox uploads to make sure only people with your password can access and download them.
Where can I find my shared ShareBox uploads?
In your settings, you can view a list of all open boxes there.
Yes. You can share files as large as your storage allows. But keep in mind that the larger the file, the longer it will take to upload and download.
What file types can I share with ShareBox Uploads?
You can share any file type.
How can I upload files in bulk?
You can upload files in bulk by dragging and dropping a folder into ShareBox. And you can keep adding files to a box until you press the done button to mark it as complete.
What is the monthly limit for file uploads?
There is a limit of 50GB for plus and 250GB for pro subscribers per month in uploads. But pro subscribers can always enable the "pay-as-you-go" option to go beyond the limit.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription by going to the "Account" section in the settings and selecting "Open billing". There you can deactivate your subscription. You can reactivate your subscription anytime.
