What is ShareBox?
ShareBox is a macOS app for secure, temporary file sharing with unique expiring links.
Is my data private?
Yes. We use privacy-first practices and encrypt data in transit. You can set expiry and optional passwords.
How do I share files?
Upload from Finder on macOS, wait for your files to upload, get a link, and send it to anyone.
Are other platforms supported?
No, currently only macOS is supported for uploading files, with iOS coming soon.
How long are my files available for?
Your files are available for up to 3 days by default, then automatically deleted forever. This can also be changed to up to 7 days in your settings.
Can I set a password for my files?
Yes. You can set a password for your files to make sure only people with your password can access and download them.
Where can I find my shared files?
In your settings, you can view a list of all open boxes there.
How do I get support?

Can I share files larger than 2GB?
Yes. You can share files as large as your storage allows. But keep in mind that the larger the file, the longer it will take to upload and download.
What file types can I share?
You can share any file type.
How can I upload files in bulk?
You can upload files in bulk by dragging and dropping a folder into ShareBox. And you can keep adding files to a box until you press the checkmark button to mark it as complete.
What is the monthly limit for file uploads?
There is a limit of 250GB per month in uploads. But you can always upgrade to the "pay-as-you-go" plan to remove the limit.
How can I upgrade my plan?
You can upgrade your plan by going to the "Account" section in the settings. There you can activate your subscription and choose the "pay-as-you-go" option once your subscription is activated.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription by going to the "Account" section in the settings and selecting "Open billing". There you can deactivate your subscription. You can reactivate your subscription anytime.
