ShareboxedUsing OneDrive with Shareboxed
Shareboxed uploads straight into your own OneDrive, personal or work. Nothing to type: press Connect… in the connection settings and sign in on Microsoft's own page in your browser. Shareboxed never sees your password.
What it may see
Microsoft gives the app one folder, Apps → Shareboxed, and nothing else
(Files.ReadWrite.AppFolder). Files anywhere else in your OneDrive are
invisible to Shareboxed; Microsoft does not answer for them.
Where files land
One folder per upload session, named with the date down to the second, inside Apps → Shareboxed. Two batches can never overwrite each other. OneDrive syncs the files to your other devices from there.
No shareable links
The Sharing switch is not offered for OneDrive. A Shareboxed link works because one request for one file can be signed without handing out the account, and OneDrive has nothing to sign with. Share from OneDrive itself (right-click the folder → Share), or use an S3 or R2 connection for batches that need a link.
When something does not work
Press Test Connection first. What it can say:

| Invalid credentials | No account is connected yet, or Microsoft revoked the access. Press Connect… or Change…. |
| Account not found | The sign-in page was closed or refused, so nothing was stored. Press Connect… again. |
| Client error | This copy of Shareboxed was built without a Microsoft client id and cannot connect. |
| Not reachable | No network, or Microsoft did not answer. |
One more that only shows up later:
- Uploads stop with Microsoft refused this account: the access was revoked, or the password changed. Connecting the account again fixes it.
